We are a big city with a big heart.
Could you foster?
Are you a good listener?
Do you have a great sense of humour?
Do you understand what it is like to be a child?
Do you seek a home based lifestyle?
Do you have the time to devote to a child?
Every day our foster carers look after local children who are unable to live with their birth families.
Liverpool City Council has responsibility for over 900 children across the city who for many different reasons, are unable to live with their birth families. Every one of these children matters. We want to give them opportunity to flourish and that is why we need foster carers with the passion and commitment to make a difference to a child’s life.
Our foster carers come from all walks of life. They reflect our children’s heritage, culture and ethnic backgrounds; they have great understanding of the importance of belonging so no child feels they are different.
